A very happy Christmas to everybody. I hope you all have a wonderful time. 2017 has been an amazing year for new music, but tonight I'm listening to a perennial Christmas favourite, The Loom's Desire by Laura Nyro.  Recorded live at her Christmas Eve concerts in New York in 1993 and 1994 a few years before her tragic passing, these are imperishable documents of a uniquely brilliant creative talent. Magic, just magic.
