Problem accessing MinimServer through Sky Hub

Hi Guys,

Wondering if anybody can help here....

Recently moved house and so went for Sky as broadband provider. Previously had Vodafone. Having finally managed to set up HiFi rig in the new place, I'm having a problem accessing MinimServer on the music pc from the control app on the iPad. Having checked everything, I'm sure it's because the Sky hub is blocking access to MinimServer (whereas all worked fine with old Vodafone home gateway).

Has anybody come across this before? Have reviewed settings on the Sky hub but not really sure what it could be... Any help appreciated! Will be trawling the support forum on the MinimServer site too...

So managed to resolve the issue through trial and error... In case anybody else moves to the newer Sky Q Hub and is using MinimServer via a hardwired Ethernet connection, it appears the connection needs to be configured as Fast Ethernet rather than Gigabit Ethernet.. All is rosy then...

Well done on finding that out Steve....would have been the last place I would have looked.
I expect Google saved a lot of pain?

Pretty much all of Saturday afternoon, evening and into the wee hours was spent Googling.... The closest I could find was that MinimServer encountered issues with some routers that didn't support Multicast discovery messages. And that specifically the handover from a wired Ethernet connection (the music server) to a wifi connection (control point on iPad) didn't work..
So I resorted to minimising the changes... Put back in the old Vodafone home gateway and sure enough the control point could see MinimServer.
Put back in the Sky Q hub and went through every possible config adjustment that could in any way be relevant.
A particularly loud sigh of relief in the early hours of Sunday morning when the music library finally popped up after changing to Fast Ethernet....!
