Got a spare 125,000 euro to spend?

Post by Adrian »

Occasionally I feel a bit guilty with spending money on hi fi when it could be put towards other more practicable things etc.

But if would appear some of us are in the Ha'penny place when it comes to some items. Recommended Retail Price is around 319K euro, but if you have 125K you can "get yourself a bargain" Wavac SH833 valve amplifier, tipping the scales at 500kg and pumping out 150W of power.

Apparently only 6 sets were made, two of which are in Europe!

Personally I wouldn't spend any more than €20K on new equipment for the whole system.
