Is there a tl;dr for this? Sounds like nonsense, but life's too short to read the detail. Is it claiming that embedded cover art is the culprit?

They lost me when they started using human listening tests. Just compare the output wave form. All the listening test does is allow psychoacoustics and fatigue colour the results. Flac files produce identical output to the wav file they were encoded from, hence the lossless moniker.

I read enough to determine that they claim the metadata is the cause (so lossless flac won't fix it).
