Re: lekt player
Seems ses2 has the extra pressure in bass. That's making a lot of difference? Even bass vocal feels different to ent, feels closer to singer
Re: lekt player
v3.57x code algorithm better but ses2 code alignment better, sound more free, most organic. that's make CPU easier fetching code, improve parallel execution. need make all thing good once, hehe...

Yea, I am back and forth listening on ses2 and ent!
ent basically better in all things. Refinement and details is on a new high!
Only pressure is lesser than ses2

Re: lekt player
have found one mistake in v3.57.xx , need set parameter for object, sound changed to free as ses2. there's wasapi original code, need accurate more, more..jesuscheung wrote:Seems ses2 has the extra pressure in bass. Re: lekt player
fixed mistake of parameters and optimized code.
uploaded: v3.58 256 crit2 , v3.58.1 256 qword
crit2 sound more soft with good vibration, power.
try qword for piano sound, maybe also good.

love this one! has all good things from ent and ses2lekt wrote: try qword for piano sound, maybe also good.
qword plays rock lesser than crit2. crit2 better drum, tighter bass
but qword better vocal and piano.

Re: lekt player
and will merge code of gs30 into them, gs30 used correct access protected wasapi memory so its sound can present micro micro vibration for vocal, make more emotion. still prefer this vocal.jesuscheung wrote:Am back and forth with qword and crit2..

crit2 very good, vibration is best of lekt.
for piano need refference to code of v3.50 256 qword, this code too complex, need re-extract code of last audiokse.dll version. i feel only this version can present different nuances of pianist playing slow and early silent notes. sometimes my breath like as stoping while listening these notes.
----------------
windows wasapi code presents high technique on using protected memory, everything is protected, exclusive, special shared mode,... and code alignment, register usage also. still i can't understand many things in Microsoft's code.
if you can build player on WaveRT model then your player can give good sound or not? SQ depend on much much factors... although SQ of wasapi still not high in almost players but i prefer wasapi's sound, makes more emotion vs different technologues. but im probably wrong?

Yea, wasapi makes bass others cannot.... Something is different
Ok... Back to ses2 again!
Although ses2 is technically lesser than qword and crit2, Ses2 makes you want to sing with the music. Unique version of lekt player
