V235 works fine for me. Must agree with Gordon, excellent version. I'm not touching v238 yet!

does any other ks program play ? wasapi ok ? did you use win 10 version for win 10 ?

plays ok on my win 10 machine and not doing anything that hasn't been done before.

wonder if the device was left in a funny state, did you reboot the device as well ?

v235 is the best version, really exceptional.

The last version i still the v234, on the Main page!
I never got a chance to download the v235!

Went back to an early version from begin of january that stil did work. Gradually went up again.
The latest version that does work is 84/99/224 (from 23 & 24 th january), at the moment nothing above that will play.

It is very strange that on both computers (a Win 10 one and a Server 2012R2), both using completely different USB devices, the same thing happens after running v238 only once.

Will try to reset the USB as well.

I'll bet that v238 was so good that it temporarily shocked your both PC's!
Now they are slowly recovering! :)

Nope,
long time shutdown and cold boot and USB power off/power on doesn't change the situation.

When running the mqn.bat I can see in TaskManager mqncontrol being started, but not mqnloader and not mqnplay.

Looks like I'm in for reinstalling of the OS-es on both computers, which is a weeks work or more on my desktop
