I've tried monkeymote (ipad) foobar2000 controller (android) and foobarcon (android).
None work correctly. They let me start playing a song, but don't let me pick them, kind of weird.

I think because the "script" that was setup above tells foobar to stop playback, that it confuses these controller programs.

Last thing will be to try upnp, otherwise I'll use a vnc program as a remote.

I have listened to MQnPlay/Control/Loader v162/55/32, v165/56/33 and v169/56/33.
v169 is my favourite - very fine, thank you. Look forward to try the newest ver.

Uploaded play v175, control v59, loader v36, found a setting which seems to improve the speed, detail is exceptional. My test tracks are Van Halen, Diana Krall, McCoy Tyner, Rush, 2L Mozart, KV218, Eroica Quartet Debussy/Ravel.

Anyway, that's the finished version as far as SQ goes. Digital playback is deeply flawed and that's the best I can do.

Tweaked the files using a PE editor, so the code for v176, v60 and v37 is the same as the previous version, just the files have been restructured. Surprisingly makes a differerence.

after all that it still sounds better with a hard coded device name.

v177, v61 and v38 just small tweak to pe editing, think it's better.

v178 hard coded device name, think it's better.

Hi Gordon,
what a bummer, I was too slow to catch one of the above mentioned versions, so all i can say, V.182 is another highlight. Compared to V.173 and V.174 with V.182 guitar and piano sounds more natural to me. V.174 is a good version, too, but tends to be a bit artificial, "hifi-sh" IMHO.
This V.182 is my new no.1 :-)
cheers,
Markus

At the mo I get more enjoyment out of 174 than 182.
Didn't listen that long to 182, but my first impression was it sounded a bit 'dead'.
174 has more life.

Will listen more over the weekend.

it's between 174 and 180. 180 perhaps has better detail.
