I did like what I heard on this album even if the thematic material throughout sounds the same. However, there were 2 or 3 tracks which were really very nice.

I love that album jad especially Robert Wyatt's piano sound. Have you heard any tracks from Brian's forthcoming album? I heard one track on his website and I was a little bit disappointed....very rhythmic and it reminded me of Bush of Ghosts.

A nice little review:
This is the music you here as you fall into your dreams. these are the sounds of your subconscious. Beautiful and terrifying in equal measure. Think of your grand mothers musical boxes, steam driven fairground organs and the catholic incantations of adolescent schoolgirls and you might come some way to approximating the sonic pleasures captured on this soundtrack.

In parts it is whimsical and light as the mechanical harpsichords play the same refrain throughout but don't be lulled into a sense of delightful reverie because around every corner there is a jolt or jarrring sound that reminds you that this is an unsettling soundtrack. Churchbells peeling in the distance and wolves baying are just a couple of the gothic delights.

There are baroque organs followed by pastoral flutes and gentle acoustic guitar that reminds me of David Axelrod's Song of Innocence and I think this comparison with Axelrod is quite valid as the religious motifs in his Blake inspired work can also be felt in this.

I would recommend this record to all music lovers looking for a challenging ambience but not for the faint hearted or pop lovers
