Hello all.
I'm finally going to let my Quads go. My new upgrade means space is at a premium in the man cave, they're now taking up valuable real estate and I can no longer justify keeping them. Apart from everything else, I hardly ever listen to them and they deserve to be used more often.
Cosmetically they're in good condition, there's some scuffing on the feet but the grilles themselves are in very good shape. I bought them here a few years ago, so I might as well share that thread as the pictures are pretty much unchanged:

Sonically they're pretty good I think. One is *slightly* down in level compared to the other, but again I believe this is common enough as it's hard to get a perfect pair. Anyway, a balance control sorts that out. When I brought them to Tony's to compare with his refurb'ed pair they were definitely a little quieter, but really similar in terms of tonal balance, with that unmistakable Quad midrange that everybody loves. So basically I think they're a good pair. At the very least, I can confirm that Miles Davis and Nat King Cole and all those boys sound gorgeous on them!
I'm looking for 400 Euro because that's what I paid for them and I think it's fair value. I have no boxes so can't really ship, although I can probably deliver to Dublin and environs.
