Seán wrote:I first heard the Gloria from Missa Dei Filli on Lyric about two or three years ago. On that occasion it was performed by the Frieburg Baroque Orchestra with Collegium Vocale Gent conducted by Marcus Creed and it was exhilarating.

This performance is really beautiful.
I have that one Seán and agree that it is a wonderful CD which comes recommended.

I really liked this one. The music was wonderful but the singing and playing stole the show for me. The vocalists were really very good and blended very well. The [original] instrumental ensemble is relatively small but the sound that is generated is wonderfully sonorous and full.
