After letting go a Cyrus based system I yearned for a more fuller sounding system.
Luxman was a name that kept coming up and I landed a beautiful Luxman 530x
direct from Japan 100v, am using Air Link 1000v transformer to good effect.
I had the unit serviced by Hi-Fi Hospital and its in great condition. Almost
18 kg of solid construction.
At 20watt Class A followed by 120 watt Class B I am finding the unit just too
powerfull for my small listening room and B&W 685 speakers. Maybe its taking
a while to re-adjust from the leaner Cyrus 8vs2 but I am having doubts and
am considering downsizing to a more managable 60 to 80 watt system.
Looking to see if there is interest fir this beast.
Thanks
Eddie

Re: Luxman 530x Interest Check
Hi Eddie,
I considered a Luxman such as yours when in the market for a vintage amp late last year. Lovely machine! Decided to go with an Accuphase E303x which I'm very pleased with.
You might stand a better chance by posting some pictures/reviews and indicating a price.
Good luck with the sale.
Terry
