Vintage speakers - B&W, Wharfedale & Sonab

Post by Tweedle12 »

Being a bit of a vintage HiFi enthusiast, I have picked up a number of interesting speakers for which, sadly, I must find new homes. I can email pictures and further details to anyone interested.

I have the following:
1. B&W DM2 in great condition Teak veneer - these are incredibly detailed speakers that were often used in recording studios
2. Wharfedale 'Kit 5' in Mahogany veneer - very rare larger version of the Dovedale speakers, featuring a 12" woofer, in a 3 way configuration. The bass response from these is incredible.
3. Sonab OA-4, omnidirectional speakers, in walnut. These feature the Philips 9710 alnico full range driver in a unique configuration that projects a realistic 'wall of sound' from a compact design.

I am open to offers on these, but was hoping for circa 200 Euro a pair.

Thanks for your interest.

Alas no- I really miss the Wharfedales! I also have Acoustic Research AR11s and Quad ESL57s that might be available.
