Anyone following the threads on the devialet phantoms? The claims from such a small enclosure including amplifier, dac and wifi is amazing. Devialet seem to really be changing things around in the hifi world.

Yes indeed, I can't wait to hear them. Hard to gauge what they REALLY sound like based on the blurbs I've read, and I can't figure out yet whether it's proper audiophile stuff or party trick. Given Devialet's level of cred I'd expect the former, but time will tell.

Heard them working in stereo mode on HiFiWigwam show and they were absolutely horrible :D... sorry to be bringing bad news.

Are they really not just a lifestyle product? The amps seem to be the real deal but couldn't offer an opinion on them as I have never heard them.
