Hello,
I am looking for US fuses in ceramic casings.
Length is 31mm and diameter 6mm. 250V – (1/4A) 0.25A.
Could you please let me know if you have some spare ones or if you can advise on where I can buy them?
Thanks
Maciej

Do or do not, there is no try
Re: looking for US fuses
Thanks Fran for explaining the cause of the problem. After your recommendation all is sorted.Fran wrote:I should have some - will check later and text you?
Those fuses are not easily available in here as I spoke today to few different merchandises trading with electrical goods and none of them had this size 31mm and with small voltage 0.25A in ceramic casing available.
As this fuse is used internally it is not recommended to use glass one according to the manufacturer of the amp.
Perhaps in US they are common but in here not so much. Anyway I got 2 fuses from the guy I bought the amp, he just forgot to give it to me. Since I’ve sent the e-mail I blew up another one. I was setting bias too high @250. Now it’s around 230 and all seems to be just fine.
Regards
Maciej

Was the bias off by much? Does it sound even better now?
