lekt, have you changed anything in view->options in windows explorer?
apart from "show status bar=false", seems that non-default settings worsen the bass for lekt player

i don't change windows explorer view setting. almost C/C++ versions optimized by compiler (i see it splits code to different peaces like as small functions to reduce register dependency, sometimes good, sometimes bad).
now use masm64 compiler can compile code to original structure as writen in code. misuse of registers can make worsen the bass and other things. there's register dependencies, difficult avoid it. think some v3.xx have not correct sound, seems little intense. will review code of v3.16.2, sound very clearly but a bit intense?

Actually 3.16 has highest accuracy in rhythm here. Weight is %100. Sharp and clear notes. Need more more testing

uploaded lekt.exe v3.17 256 mod
(use lektmod.exe v1.0 to mod v3.17)

v3.17 doesn't import functions from kernel32.dll into .exe file but used some tricks for taking API function pointers, so then need mod PE before running player each time when windows restarted.
rename lektmod.exe v1.0 to lektmod.exe, copy it into lekt.exe's folder, run lektmod.exe, and lekt.exe already for playing (if you restart windows then you need run lektmod.exe again before playing v3.17).

try this model, interesting, think it work for you. will get all functions pointers by this method in next version.
