All welcome lads, no worries at all on the numbers...
I'm looking forward to this - on the headphone front I just tidied up a valve hpa with a nice new shunt power supply, raises the performance quite a bit. Now I just need to fix up a valve socket in a power amp and we should be good to go.

Alas the brownie points I'm earning this year extend to a weekend away for Valentine's so yet another year will pass by with me unable to attend.
Fair play to you Fran for setting all this up and I hope the day is a big success.
Please make sure there are plenty of posts and photos of the day. I often find reading the wam, there are pages of posts leading up to a bakeoff and then a dearth of ones about how it went.

Bit more headphone prep - this is the geek out, powered off a battery, using an old laptop as source running headless Daphile OS from a memory stick.... and sounding fairly OK to boot!

Important!!!
Meant to say way earlier - people need to bring music!!!!
CDs, LPs, files - best as WAV if possible and on a memory stick as I have no way of ripping them quickly....
