Paddy - I have another bedroom that I can convert for headphone use. Won't be absolutely sound tight, but better than last year at least. I have another headphone amp, and a pair of rewired, balanced connected 701s. Not sure if I had them for last year.

I need to do a tidy up on one of my own amps (bad valve socket).


Does anyone have a high powered solid state amp they could bring?

How high powered were you thinking Fran?
Was going to bring along my homemade (medium power) mosfet... kicks out 140w RMS into 4ohm per channel, would that cut the mustard?

My Primare is even less at 120W @8ohms and not even doubling into 4 at 200W but if you like I could bring it. That is of course if I will make it in the first place, but I think it is not a best choice for heavy loads.

Hi guys

I am sorry to say that the Hugo TT will not make an appearance - Chord have just emailed me and the production units for review don't go out until the week after the meet.

I will be reviewing the Hugo TT and live in Dublin Clontarf - so if anyone wants to pop out for a listen they are more than welcome. I could also bring the Hugo to someones house if they want to hear it in their own system as log as they are not too far away.....

That's what you have children for. No play dates this weekend just a hard slog of hoovering, dusting , leaves out of the gutters, fix the roof tiles and weed the lawn before saturday lunch!
