Anyone been watching Sky Arts channel's highlights of summer music festivals on Saturday nights? Channel 141 on NTL.

I was there again this year, good time had by all but atrocious weather - got soaked on 5 separate occasions on the Saturday alone (and it p****d down on Thursday & Friday too!).

Johnny Logan singing the role of King Arthur in excerpts from a Breton "Celtic Rock Opera" in a thunderstorm is an experience I never expected to have (well, you couldn't make it up, could you? ;-), and probably never will have again (thankfully) but these are the kind of unlooked for twists of fate that make life the endless, rich pageant that it is.
