Just heard this wonderful album from Brigitte Angerhausen. She is a producer engineer herself and this a sonic delight especially on vinyl

Billy Hart - drums
NHOP - bass
Joanne Bracken - piano & electric piano
Stan Getz - tenor saxophone.
What a truly wonderful album this is. It was recorded in Copenhagen in the spring of 1977. Stan Getz was celebrating his 50th birthday and was at the height of his powers. He plays gorgeously throughout. Another listen to the first four bars on Comcao Do Sol reminds me -- as if I needed reminding -- why I fell in love with his playing all those years ago. He is ably supported by his superb trio of Hart, Pedersen and Bracken. This album is a must for any current or budding Getz fans out there.

This is one of my favourite Jazz albums. Nelson's "arrangements" and the solo improvisations are simply gorgeous. It is a marvellous group:
Oliver Nelson (tenor sax, arranger)
Freddie Hubbard (trumpet),
Eric Dolphy (alto sax, flute),
George Barrow (baritone saxophone),
Bill Evans (piano),
Paul Chambers (bass),
Roy Haynes (drums)
Stolen Moments is stunning. Hubbard's trumpet, Dolphy's flute, Bill Evans playing and Nelson's haunting tenor solo are wonderful.
