Here is one that did not work for me....

The street musician was giving his all in the song and there was a lot of body movement. My idea was to capture the movement with a slow shutter speed with the fixed points of the microphone stand and the guitar cases in the background anchoring the movement; but it did not come off for me really.

Oh I don't know. I quite like that, you captured something there. Let's just say I'd be very happy to put that on my wall.

Cheers Ivor; I appreciate the comment. I think that it can be quite difficult to catch the essence of a musical performance and although I like this one something says to me that it could have been a little better - I am just not sure what I could have done differently though.

Cheers Adrian. The framing was both deliberate and a tad hazardous as I was trying to employ the effect of the diagonal in the composition.
