Due to the DoF... yeah probably... a slow shutter and attempting to get a small an aperture as possible. Taken over 2 1/2 years ago.... so I definitely do not remember!! Just scanned this image this evening.... just shows how much I am behind with this stuff. Got about another 19 rolls of 617 negatives to scan yet!! But as they say in the industry.... slowly slowly... catcheee monkey!!
That should keep you out of trouble for a few hours!! Post up some more images when you have them Adrian.

Kodak T Max 100, About two years ago..... the original terminal at Dublin Airport. Years ago when I was a nipper... I managed to get a visit to the building and visit the ATC operations room and tower at the top of the building. In addition the visit included a radar center at the north edge of the air field. All interesting stuff, needless to say it would not be possible to get access to sensitive areas today. Pity how times have changed.

Was just about to say that - great sky! It's hard to get skies with much detail /contrast on b&w film.

At the time of taking the photo, I cannot remember concentrating on the sky, as I would have been concentrating on keeping the camera level. I think if the shot was slightly more upwards it would have worked better, (ie more sky and less foreground) but as I was shooting though the glass window of the walkway (which connects the Ryanair gates) I was severely limited due to reflections.
The building itself I would consider Iconic, a much simpler time, where planes could nose up to the building, visitors could sit on the roof terraces and wave to the passengers below on the apron.

I do indeed Fergus - either an ND grad, or sometimes I use a ND grad in orange which gives a bit of boost to the contrast in the sky - although then with less of a ND effect. I just always find typical irish light grey skies hard to make good in a print - you get that white out unless you burn in very hard.
