And here is another one Fergus: there are 1,000 people singing Ode to Joy, happy birthday Ludwig.

Re: Youtube videos you might like.
This is utterly wonderful. Frans Brüggen's masterful readings of Mozart's final three symphonies were released earlier this year on CD and here is the original concert recorded by Dutch TV. In my opinion, these readings are among the very greatest these masterpieces have ever received and it is a delight to see this visual record of the event. What I treasure about these recordings is the absolute mastery of phrasing, that ability to articulate the musical line with unforced ease, clarity and precision. Watching these performances, I am reminded also of the late Claudio Abbado who demonstrated this very same clarity of line through the continual refinement of orchestral textures to produce a luminous transparency that appeared effortless but which belied a lifetime of learning and a mastery of one's craft. This remarkable performance deserves a separate DVD release and would serve as a fine tribute to maestro Brüggen.
Gryphon Diablo 300, dCS Rossini (with matching clock), Kharma Exquisite Mini, Ansuz C2, Finite Elemente Master Reference.
