Recommendations for Veracini’s music?

Post by fergus »

A recent discussion on the Listening Thread highlighted Veracini’s opera Adriano in Siria. This prompted me to look at my collection of Veracini’s works and I only have two CDs....

I obviously only know the composer’s music from the works contained on the two CDs above so I need to augment my Veracini collection. I am looking for recommendations please.
What is the range of the composer’s work?
Do you have any favourites?
Adriano in Siria is only on pre-order so what should I buy?
Any and all recommendations will be most welcome.

You can add this excellent recording and an older with Biondi and Alessandrini, didn´t post the picture because it was too large. Both these recordings are superb dear Fergus.
