To make it as clear as we can, here are some simple guidelines:

a) like any forum, the success of tirnahifi is entirely dependent on discussion. All members are encouraged to participate in discussion of music, hifi, etc.
b) tirnahifi is not designed to be, nor intended to be, a marketplace. Any member who uses the site merely for selling will be looked on suspiciously.
c) those members who choose to sell on the site should be aware that the mods do keep an eye on the stuff for sale, plus the demeanour of the seller. Sometimes we may lock/delete/ban a sales thread on this basis.
d) honesty is paramount in all selling transactions. Commercial sellers who label themselves as such are accepted at the discretion of the moderating team.
e) All ads have to include information about age, price, provenance, etc.
f) THE MODERATING TEAM RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REMOVE ANY ADS AT THEIR DISCRETION.
g) Commercial sellers should approach any of the moderation team in advance of posting. First time commercial posts without moderator contact will be removed.

I'm moving on some of my Music library.
Most are Hardback First editions

Things are a bit slow so I thought I would give you another chance, seeing as Halloween is on the way you might want to indulge in a ritual book burning at bargain pricing. Delivery guaranteed before the big day.
Offers will be mulled over (no body parts please) the idea is to move these wee gems on.

I’d rather see people take them for the love of the thing rather than put them on ebaystard for the €€€.
I can pretty much cover delivery but if you are outside the country you’re out of luck.
I’d much rather meet to hand over but I can post.
So what’s a fair price? €5 each? €10 each? What about 3 for €20?
Look, I don’t know, but when you see this pricing it really throws a spanner in the works

I've no problem with the asking prices at all but I know we usually end up swapping CDs, turnips and or carrot cake. I also offer a large bag of dog hair and knitting needles in part exchange.

She's very high maintenance though.
