Congratulations Fergus! Long may it dazzle you :)fergus wrote:I took a trip down to Noel Cloney and borrowed the Cyrus Phono X and PSU to try out. I loved what it did from the moment that I switched it on. However I did not want to be impulsive so I held on to it for a week trying out various different genres of music etc. and to see if the warm glow of satisfaction wore off in time. It did not so I went back down to Cloneys today to pay for it. Once again both Noel and Ivan were most helpful and forthcoming with both information and advice as always.
Thank you to everyone for your recommendations.
Major gratitude to Gerry for the original heads up! Thank you Gerry and you were honourably mentioned by both of the Cloney men!

Delighted Fergus. Really I would have taken it if you hadn't. Happy listening.

Well done Fergus. Did you try it with and without power supply? Always a lot of noise across the water that the power supply does nothing but with my cdp and amp it made a significant difference.

Cheers Tony. Yes, I did try it both with and without the power supply and I found that the Power supple brought a certain refinement to it.tony wrote:Well done Fergus. Not really an early Christmas present; I had been mulling a new phonostage over for some time. I had mentioned phonostages to you some time ago if you recall.Derek wrote:Well done Fergus, was it an early Christmas present?
