Jazz festival weekend here.
Saw Sounds of the Nordic Islands and Ensemble Ériu last night at the Triskel Christchurch last might. Wonderful gig - lovely music, lovely sound in a wonderful venue.
One sour note - Quercus cancelled tonights gig due to illness - wishing June Tabor a speedy recovery and hopefully catch them in 2015.

Any way started my home Jazz weekend with an old favourite:

Sounded great, always a treat - like a musical journey, well composed and well resolved.

An unusual release for the HM label but lovely ensemble/big band playing nonetheless.
