7.59 avx2 has a bit more code and is probably the correct way to do things

Unfortunately, the latest versions (7.55/7.58/7.59) do not work (well). With my Hiface Dac they crackle. With my Teac Dac there is no sound at all.

7.52 AVX2 2496 was the last tried version which worked very well with both my Teac and M2Tech (Xmos) Hiface Dac. Sound is beautiful.

I have a little clicks every 5-10 seconds with all the new ones (7.58; 7.59 and 7.61)!

Adam,

Checked for it on 7.61, but I don't notice any.
Am running at realtime priority, set by tasker.

Dunno if tasker is fully overriding the high priority in mqnplay
As there was still difference between the high priority and real time versions a while back while using tasker set for real time
Was an irrelevant test anyway because of that error
Think we would be further on using real time and lower buffer
sd card player, modded soekris dac, class a lifepo4 amp or gb class a/b amp, diy open baffle speakers based on project audio mundorf trio 10's

Yes, tasker will set the priority of mqnplay when issued after mqncontrol has launched mqnplay.
Nothing mqn istelf can do about that
