feels more live and real. little bit analog dirty. (not digital dirty)

love this sound! very very analog sound.
when i was kid, computer didn't exist back then, my piano teacher played me tapes or whatever, it sounded like this!
little bit dirty. no hifi effects. nothing beautiful. nothing impressive. plain music.
i used to hate it. boring. now i love this sound.
very accurate piano notes. new best.
agree...
feel this analog, good piano notes, very accurate sounding.
"little bit dirty. no hifi effects. nothing beautiful. nothing impressive. plain music.": more like as listening from tapes, analog radio. love this kind, hehe... beautiful. can get real emotion.
tried use new setting for wasapi objects other than v2.98.12.xx, don't know work for you or not. used only simple code for copy function for render loop for testing. with this raw copy function sound only raw in some previous versions. but in v2.98.14 sound good, vibration not bad vs v2.98.12xx. sound stage better, balance is best. i see big potential for them. prefer ctlx1. try them.
------------------------------
bass much better, very correct stage.
lekt.exe v2.98.14 160 ctlx1: distorted @ soundcard buffer size 256, plays ok at 128 but the magic of v2.98.12 256 sop is missing.
I would like to try a v2.98.14 256 ctlx1 version.
better SQ. maybe work and more stable for your sound card. didn't touch code, only recompiled. seems checking system config that made by compiler also affect to player.

very subtle difference!
ctlx5 c3 vocal rises more. -> more energy.
ctlx1 c2 vocal sinks more. -> more sad.
prefer ctlx1 c2
------
try Scorpions "The furture never dies"
the word "dies", sinks more.
i feel buffer size 160 always more organic, more correct musical notes. but hard with code so then difficult improve vibration, will try later use its potential. now try 256 with more vibration.

optimized code from v2.98.12 256 sop and changed wasapi setting.
ucx1 used setting as v2.98.14 160 ctlx1, ucx5 as ctlx5.
JC, try with piano sound. how difficult with classical piano, i need try more, more...
agree, 160 better.
piano notes rises perfectly as always.
timing for notes sinking can much improve.
needs more faster acceleration. needs longer decay in deceleration.
like a stone drops (acceleration) and falls into water (deceleration).

sop has most details in piano skills.

for casual listening, ctlx is better piano.
sop is too skill intensive. haha.. i feel tired listening
i see v2.98.14xx, v2.98.15xx balance much better => sound haven't effect as 3D, intense or false emotion.
v2.98.12xx a bit imbalance, listening piano i feel sop have little little effect, its sound have little shadow from left side/channel.
enjoing piano now with v2.98.15 256 ucx5, good balance, true sound. almost all things better than v2.98.14 160 xx, excluding scale of musical notes. ucx1 vibration better.
not sure, need more test.

ucx1 c2 bass/drum good pressure as v2.4.3, tempo also. maybe good for pop/rock.
