MQN
Re: MQN
Don't believe a word of it!! I see a long & fruitful path ahead of us with MQn KS and I am looking forward to the ride.sbgk wrote:
just put the portaudio_x64.dll into the same directory as mqnplay1644.exe
remarkable sq already, could stop here, but think there are a few more easy tweaks.
the new portaudio dll will also improve the sq of jlp player, haven't tested it yet though.

Re: MQN
Using portaudio_x64.dll v23 and mqnplay 7.05 in normal versions, playback breaks suddenly after two or three pieces .

Re: MQN
Couldn't get it working. Tried Portaudio v23 and 7.05 Normal on my DH61DL which does not support AVX. Control 3.61 512 (but don't know if that is relevant with KS?).sbgk wrote:uploaded portaudio_x64.dll v23 and mqnplay 7.05, both in avx2 and normal versions.
the last device will be selected by default, so you should be able to get up and running ie usually internal speakers will be 1 and usb device last or if usb device not connected then the internal speakers will be selected.

In CP I only have one Sound Device being my WaveIO USB. Thesycon driver v 2.23 which should support KS.
Any clues?

Re: MQN
Many thanks. I will give that a try if Gordon does not fix v.23 or update it, before I get to try it.DJ le Roi wrote:Versions 7.02 7.03 7.04 7.05 (normal version) are only working with portaudio_x64.dll (uploaded 12 Aug), promising sound! Version 23 is not working.

Re: MQN
I use Win 8.1, i7-3770T, Mb is Asus P8Z77-M.
Today I have tried 7.05 normal and portaudio v.23 normal, with control 3.61, and everything was fine. And I can play folder with music lasting 3 hrs, Wav 1644, no problem.
KS sound is promising here, compared to 6.17 sse2. Really a bit different from WASAPI.

Re: MQN
It seems that the sudden interruption of playback is due to the time that I choose to shutoff the display of my thinkpad t61 if not in use. This time is ten minutes. Just to clear that point. The new versions seem to be at least not worse, compared to Wasapi. So - keep on tweaking, Gordon!lukivision wrote:Using portaudio_x64.dll v23 and mqnplay 7.05 in normal versions, playback breaks suddenly after two or three pieces .
