Cheers Fran. Landscape photography is not all about bright sunny days; in fact it is probably better if it is not bright and sunny. Adverse weather and lighting conditions can often make for the most interesting images and the locations do not need to be exotic (but that always helps); I took the above image on an obviously dark, misty day about a fifteen minute walk from my home. I was interested in the vanishing point actually converging into the fog.

Absolutely stunning Fergus!
You can almost picture the poor old lady (of Shallot) ready to enter the scene on her last fateful journey.....Or even Arthur's sword coming out of the depths :) Let your imagination run riot!
