5.64 SSE2 is bloody marvellous. Incredible detail but without any harshness and very listenable for long periods. Vocals stunning. Piano is best I have heard. (Wonder if JC likes it?)
5.65 SSE2 seemed a tad veiled in comparison but close.

I listened the latest sse2 versions (5.07, 5.20, 5.37, 5.51, 5.59, 5.63, 5.64) this afternoon and I agree with you.
5.64 1644 sse2 (+3.61 512) is really good. I think it's the best 1644 sse2 so far and my new reference, great detail and no harshness, full and rich sound. Coherent, nothing wrong.

uploaded 5.68 avx2, think I like it, seems to have good hard hitting bass.

5.67 probably better

yes. agree agree... mqn piano is better than all software. 5.64 is particularly goood
but not better than mqn.exe2.82.

yes 5.64 has more quality bass/treble/resolution/details.... more clarity in fast notes....

mqn.exe2.82 has the much more correctness in weight expression
weight expression != amount of power
weight expression equals emotion
the musical notes is as though "slow down"
pianists 100000k hours of practicing isn't just going to waste...
all skills are expressed...

comparatively... new mqn versions play notes more suddenly... ingredient is lost... goood and bad pianists are more less indistinguishable... it's like, anyone can make goood sound on a keyboard... keyboard expresses notes as "suddenly"
most CD players express notes the same way.... so this is not a crime

+1

5.14 is much more involving then recent ones, which are flat and undynamic by comparisson.

uploaded 5.69 16/44 sse2/avx/avx2 and 24/96 avx2, hopefully better than 5.64

don't know about 5.14, it used pointers in memory vs 5.69 pointers in registers, so still learning about the effects. in memory potentially means it takes longer to get the pointer - seems to have an increased treble effect

5.70 1644 avx2 might have a livelier sound

5.70 Too sharp in the attack, piercing piano sound in jazz trios.
Compare with 5.14, much more pleasant

Update:
Appears to be dependent on the recording.

5.69 SSE2/Control 3.61 bests 5.64 SSE2. I never thought that was possible.

I've been asked for version 5.14, some people missed to download them.
I'm not saying that hirez isn't good (haven't tested it long enough), but 16/44 is the one I mentioned earlier.

You can get them from this link.
