A rare non-classical purchase on the back of an excellent gig in the Olympia recently:

First one from Tower. It's a long awaited double vinyl edition at a much saner price than previously. Sounds good too. Last two from my first visit to hmv. They have a great little vinyl section.....

had they more copies? My CD copy has developed epilepsy Big soft spot for that album, really nicely recorded. All "one live take" for each track except a bit of percussion over dubbing. But look at the musicians involved...
Vinyl -anything else is data storage.

Thorens TD124 Mk1 + Kuzma Stogi 12"arm, HANA Red, Gold Note PH 10 + PSU. ADI-2 Dac, Lector CDP7, Wyred4Sound pre, Airtight ATM1s, Klipsch Heresy IV, Misc Mains, RCA + XLR ICs, Tellurium Q spkr cable

It was in the new vinyl section Ivor. Only copy I'm afraid. Didn't get a chance to check the Clapton section. Looks like it's an American copy. Other than the usual 'pressed on 180 gm vinyl' there's absolutely no additional info on the recording. No matter it sounds even more 'alive' than my own single Lp version from '94 :) Anyway should be dead easy to hunt down....Happy hunting.

You might like this, my niece (she works for The Guardian) took Tori record shopping in New York recently.

Just catching up now after a few weeks away. I'll have a look at that later Ivor, thank you.

The album itself is good -- a real return to form IMO.
