Re: MQN
4.62 sounds extremely good. resolution is new high for sse version?
bass seems very tight!
wait... tight bass translates to intense vocal. needs softening
all things are good. tempo. decay. depth. analog. real
micro is recent best -> no earaches on headphone at close distance.

Re: MQN
don't like 4.63... intense... intense... remains me of monster headphones...
don't like 4.64 either...
4.65 not good either... music is too fast
4.62 is better
those who enjoys details, should try 4.62. i think its resolution > 3.39. also more correct vibration/texture

Re: MQN
What was 4.63
Interesting version
Great resolution
Maybe too much for me too in the really fast and complex but the rest of the time the resolution helps the flow
Only had a quick browse up to 3.65 need more listening to be sure
There's a flow and an atmosphere in 3.14/3.39 that hasn't been bettered yet
Is a 448 version impossible?

Re: MQN
think should just let atmosphere, soundstage etc to naturally happen.nige2000 wrote: There's a flow and an atmosphere in 3.14/3.39 that hasn't been bettered yet
there is almost no explicit information regarding soundstage in a PCM wav file.
only weak signals in sound
Re: MQN
Which version has best flow for you jc
4.68 seems very good but makes me feel a bit edgy
Lowering the clockrate helps a small bit

there no exact coordinates x y z as to where every instrument is located.Aleg wrote:What a strange remark????????????????jesuscheung wrote:....there is almost no explicit information regarding soundstage in a PCM wav file.nige2000 wrote: There's a flow and an atmosphere in 3.14/3.39 that hasn't been bettered yet

soundstage is based on correct music/vibration. when music is correct, soundstage is automatically correct.
didn't you realize, when drum weight changes, flow also changes? this is just one example.
