SA opinion?

Post by tweber »

Hi guys, just wondering if any of you have any opinion/experience with System Audio speakers?
There's a pair on adverts at the minute - look good value. SA1530s.
Looking for something in this price bracket for a second system (naim pre- and power amps & TT), not sure if they'd match.
Alternatives considered (depending on price)
Thanks,Shane.

They might be my old ones. Cherrywood colour. At that price or sure he might accept a little less a bargain. Used them in a second system also and really nice clean natural speakers. The plus is they are really neat in width and veneer/finish is really good. Danish speakers. Would suggest grabbing them at that price level.

Hated selling mine but can't hold on to everything.

I haven't heard that combination but I'd say they'd match well.

I'd snap em up; as long as you like maple...

a chap sold three pairs recently for between 450 and 500 each...

I have the bigger 1750s and love them!

I think System Audio is one of those brands you can always buy with confidence if the price is right.

Hi Shane, I have a pair of SA1530s driven by a Primare I21 as part of my second system and they are very good indeed. My primary system has the Primare driving a pair of the SA1750s. I do like System Audio and rate them highly.

Which Primare do you drive the 1750s with Sean?

Another vote here for SA. I've always loved the sound anytime I've heard them. Very neat looking speaker.
