lekt, do you think you can remember the source code of 2.4.3? hehe
no software has same energy level. drum weight feels like 100% and correct too.

2.4.3's vibration always improving with good timing tweaks.

when OS vibration level improves, s4 starts to struggle.
think vibration quantity too high for s4. but size unchanged. got muddy. liquid sound. texture less.

2.4.3 never has this issue. more vibration = more vibration.

2.90x is ok.

uploaded mods. 2.90, 2.90.2 and 2.90 recompile

think only 2.90 mod sounds better. excellent softness. (original was a bit digitally hard). treble better. feels more natural.
vibration quality ok? focus ok
like it a lot.

sorry, JC. has very busy in this time, even haven't read posts. 2 file model still didn't touch code to rewrite in C native. optimized somethings in compiler, see SQ better. only balance? think need reinstall OS. interesting, why compile quality also depend OS, think need more clean OS.
v2.4.3 lost source code, only remember some its algorithm element. now it is most balancing version.

uploaded v2.90.4 256
try test bass and treble. maybe better.

2.90.4 > 2.90x
very good softness. all things ok.
sometimes too smooth. maybe because of excess "energy"/vibration.

2.90 MOD maybe the best sound for my setup right now. love this one. vibration feels little bit different.

yes you need clean OS! don't use my posted tweaks hehe... 1 in 10 is outdated. too many mistakes.
try basic edition of win8/8.1. less junks. cleaner than pro.

i actually don't know what special about 2.90.

usually when i mod stack&heap of other versions, the treble is more easily to "hard" and "plastic". also more vibration.

2.90 MOD makes better treble softer sound and the stage is more natural.

my all time favorite is 2.4.3 352 MOD. (but cannot listen too much. too raw. earache for ears hehe)

"...sometimes too smooth..."

it's because my OS, imbalance and compress sound of my laptop, result of these is "too smooth", sound effect, not natural.
i've tried compile in other core i7 win8.1 of my friend (without tweaks), sound have normal balance and not compressed, but more noise.

"...what special about 2.90..."
i didn't change stack&heap in code, stay default by OS when run it.

i dont know how you does it.
you OS untweaked.
my OS is tweaked with about 100-300 little changes.

you player ends up sounding great haha

i actually tweaked based on xa. nothing to do with lekt player. just need to listen to micro-details + focus.
less earache = better micro. better focus is better focus.

try 2.90 MOD. i like it

i think 2.90 MOD is good enough for me.

after i make better quality texture with my OS, i feel that my next bottleneck is clean power.

yes, 2.90 MOD very good, true power, true energy. correct sound texture, non 3D. and i like it.
only little imbalance and compress, little. it's of lekt original.
v2.4.3 code not good as last versions, but compiled along time ago when my win8 pro just only installed. more clean OS than now. hm... need special laptop for audio programing.

"correct sound texture"!!! i was worry. my OS has bad bad texture. i cannot tell difference. hehe

yes, normal result, that pkshan stack&heap MOD will make compressed sound for untweaked OS.

original version is better for most OS
