Recommended HD Download Sites

Gents,

I'm looking to sample some HD tracks to try out on system and to see if I like having access to a vast library of music online.

Softwarewise, the player needs to be a final solution with a bit of polish so I'm thinking of JRiver. Are there better alternatives?

In terms of actual HD download sites, any recommendations would be appreciated. I know I can google this but I'm looking for user opinions here also.

I know of HDtracks.com and thats about it.

Storage isnt an issue as I have quite a few TB's on my PC and on a NAS.

To be more specific I'd be more interested in recordings that were recorded from the ground up in high res, not so much a remix afterwards.

Dave ,HDtracks is fine but the tracks are supplied from various record companies so results may vary. For material recorded in Hirez try http://bluecoastrecords.com/ and some of their free downloads (you'll need to sign up for membership). The owner Cookie Marenco is a pioneer of DSD recording and you can get comparison tracks in 44khz, 96khz and DFS formats. Try some of the California Audio Show 2012 tracks ,you may not particularly like the music but the recordings are top dollar.

http://www.2l.no - have DSD format samples available for download.
