Hi Adamsima66 wrote:Hi Aleg,
I use Total Commander.
Best,

This screenshot from Total Commander shows that the right mouse click shows the Properties option:
I would imagine that this properties function would show the normal tabs associated with it.
On my Server 2012 R2 in Minimal Server mode, the properties function shows a normal Compatibility tab with the regular checkboxes, also for "Run this program as Administrator".
If yours does not, maybe try the free Q-Dir program instead of the Total Commander

Under WIndows 2012 R2 I only have the "Run as Administrator" checkbox set on the mqncontrol.exe not on any other program.
Cheers
Aleg

Re: MQN
If it wasn't for Nigel I wouldn't had even the Total commander!
Do I need to uninstall total cmd. before instaling Q-Dir ?

No you need not.sima66 wrote:If it wasn't for Nigel I wouldn't had even the Total commander!

And if you download q-dir pick the 64-bit portable, that is easy to install and remove because it keeps all settings local and doesn't use registry

But I woul still expect TC to show a normal Properties screen and tabs

Re: MQN
3.30 SSE2 sounds wonderful. I think I prefer it over the last few versions between which I didn't find much of a difference. 3.30 seems impressive so far.sbgk wrote:3.30 - fine tuning, ordering of instructions

Re: MQN
why is everyone obsessed with Total commander?
i use freeware "Everything". it can index music and find music. also run programs. better than win8 "Start".
takes a little time to setup.
if anyone uses minimum server mode, mqn starting from cmd.exe sounds very slightly better than starting from total commander or anything else.
because cmd.exe itself has more rights.
