I was in Tower/Freebird this morning shortly after 9am. Some of the stuff I was curious about was sold out already but picked up The Doors, Joe Strummer/Pogues, Steve Earle, Grateful Dead at Hampton '79. Plenty of 45's but I gave them a miss as its a pain in the arse to switch my TT from 33 to 45rpm.
Tower was really busy as expected. Delighted to see some young kids upstairs picking up and buying some vinyl.
"I may skip. I may even warp a little.... But I will never, ever crash. I am your friend for life. " -Vinyl.

Just to let all know.... if it's not too late, HMV are giving 40% off all Vinyl today for 'Record Store Day'.

Sorry folks, should have posted this a few days back.

Just back myself. Picked up the Pixies and a Springsteen 10" for herself. Yeah DaveF, good few 45's in my local too. Stuck with
LPs though. Got a Tame Impala album too.
A good bit of interest here too, good to see it. Small shop but a queue of 20+ before opening this morning.

Did they have the Allman's Live at the Beacon double? Let me know what the GD album is like....
