1. powercfg -devicequery wake_from_any
gives you list of devices capable of waking the computer

2. now, block them:

Appreciate you mentioning stuff that you think decreases or does not increase SQ, JC - I salivate over anything that lets me disable anything in Windows, for my own personal tweaking ethos, so it's fun. Have always wondered about further exploitations of powercfg, these appear to be such. I keep wondering what more Powershell can do...

i was sloppy. didn't test balance power plan for intel hd graphic. it is the best. only plan that keeps micro-details.
"maximum performance" = more air. micro lost.
"power saving" = least air.

2. type 'never' turn off harddisk.

if you want to say bye bye to micro-details, then go inside the plan, and change settings related USB, PCIe, wake timers...
(less micro-details = more easy to get air)

critical listening using airy feeling is not accurate.

FilterSupportedFeaturesMode=1 maybe bad idea in certain jitter environment. watch out

as for NtfsDisableLastAccessUpdate=1, this has become default for R2. no need to do anything

Unfortunately, the devicedisablewake powercfg tweak doesn't work for me - enumerating the devices that are allowed with -devicequery wake_from_any works, but when I attempt to -devicedisablewake most of them I get an error saying I do not have "permission" to change that wake setting. This is not helped by running cmd as Admin etc., and I can't find a fix from searching Google other than turning "on" wake on USB setting in BIOS, which I don't have in my BIOS. However, listing -devicequery wake_programmable gives me the mouse and keyboard, which I can -devicedisablewake just fine.

As for more tweaks, sorry, I've been really inactive with OS/software tweaks for some time, pretty much following your lead at this point... have been concentrating on power filtering tweaks/hardware tweaks.

I saw that you posted a tweak in the lektplayer thread some ways back about reducing cmd's window size with its Properties section, as well as a few other settings - have found this to be beneficial for MQn, too, I think. Little bit of an improvement...

is windows 8.1 actually newer and better?

wmic works since xp. in a way, it is more easy to use than powershell.

1. type "wmic product" in command prompt
it lists things that you can uninstall that don't exist before!

2. these all my ATI help files. useless. uninstalled them. recovered few 100MBs:
