I did tried the 448 clock rate with the v100000.
Compared to 23220 clock rate, the 448 it's more mellow. To soft for my taste. In the end I ended up with the 46440 clock rate! More defined sound with more body and sharper bass.
Changing clock rate can be used like another tool for Fine Tuning, so I advice if you already play with the clock rates, try them all 3 and see what suits YOU the best.

Didn't we always used the clock rates 23220 or 46440?!
What's 448 now?!
What value exactly do I have to put for the clock rate? Just 448?"

My grandfather used to tell me, when I tried to improve my flies before I go for fly-fishing, "Do not change those that you catch fish on, you may go the other direction". I wasn't listening until I learned that he was right.
As far as I know you are very happy what you heard with existing setup...
Looks like I switched to worms now!

u using tasker?
properly? :)

increasing clockrate for me loosens bass and less defined

Looks like MQN has moved more towards the Ciunas camp after all my joy over the past few months being able to play all manner of music files with the XMos chipset.

Tried the 100000 MQN Control and Play pairing and no sound even though the DAC locks to the correct frequency.

Tried the 32 bit MQN Control and Play pairing and I can play all HiRez files but not 16/44 so not sure what is going on.

Going to take a break from all this testing now for a week and maybe I will be able to make some sense of it all then.

Actually, in my system the 100000 plays only with Tasker! Does not want to play in the "regular" (non-Tasker) way!
Properly....... hope so!

There's a version for both dacs
But we're still in the Sq wars
16 44 should work on everything

Try using tasker and put mqn fold er in c:/

I don't need any Tasker or tweaks, sorry guys. 100000 resolves some complex music (tracks), that none of the cd players I ever tried did, or any other computer player on my Dac, so far.
