Re: What are you listening two?
Fabio Biondi bathed Bach in Mediterranean warmth. Just glorious music making.

How was Fabio Pepe?? Did you ask him why he keeps going back to Mexico City? I assume that he gave a wonderful recital.

Re: What are you listening two?
Absolutely stupendous. This was quite simply GORGEOUS Bach, very Italian of course, but I strongly doubt J.S. would have objected such warmth, golden tone and exquisite musicianship.fergus wrote:How was Fabio Pepe?? Biondi told us that he loves it here, he likes the young and enthusiastic audience that cheers him like a pop star, of course that´s just me cheering ha, ha.

A recent purchase....
Lidarti was apparently a very well known multi instrumentalist in his time and here we have some (obviously) violin concertos from his pen.

Lidarti? I never heard of him.
Johann Sebastian Bach
Goldberg Variations
Glenn Gould piano
Fergus is correct (no surprises there) this is gorgeous music-making, Gould's playing seems effortless, it's so musical, I LOVE it.
