After a very stressful couple of hours yesterday morning ive ended up empty handed
i was naive enough to think if i got in within the first few seconds of ticket release id be successful
first time it came up with an error message second attempt timed out at half ten
willing to pay over the odds but within reason
also worried about forgeries
any help or advice welcome

e) All ads have to include information about age, price, provenance, etc.
f) THE MODERATING TEAM RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REMOVE ANY ADS AT THEIR DISCRETION.
g) Commercial sellers should approach any of the moderation team in advance of posting. First time commercial posts without moderator contact will be removed.

I also had a very stressful morning with similar experiences, although my wife eventually managed to land 2 tickets for the Sunday. Meanwhile, my utter utter hatred of Ticketmaster is renewed with a fervent zeal.
A colleague recommended premiertickets.ie for this kind of thing. You'll pay a bit over but you should be able to choose the exact tickets you want. I've never used them, but he has and has been happy. All that said, they're listed as "coming soon" on that site for now.

same happened to me for ac/dc for the point/O2 but i was a minute slow that time

Unless they've changed their policy, Aiken always release more tickets closer to showtime for big gigs like this.
