Using a tiny program like regshot.exe one can see the state of the Registry before and after and compare and get a list of changes.

Fidelizer makes up to 600 entries in Extremist mode.

Reviewing the sound aspect, it works as advertised. Sound improves, less hash on cymbals and upper ranges, cleaner all around."

lol. i have changed at least 30000 entires myself. i end up with not many registry tweaks that actually increases SQ.
yes, i have monitored changes by fidelizer and tested each tweaks. plenty are bad. don't use it.

1 bad tweaks needs 10 good tweaks to compensate. all fidelizer needs is 50 bad tweaks all 500 good tweaks are useless.

compare my services tweak vs fidelizer's services tweak. you will hear difference. fidelizer disable more services. but how about better SQ?

Tried fidizler recently too on a fresh r2 on extremist on mqn
didn't like it at all
Don't know if it's only made for a home pc that has many services running
not suitable for this level anyway
sd card player, modded soekris dac, class a lifepo4 amp or gb class a/b amp, diy open baffle speakers based on project audio mundorf trio 10's

if windows's SQ is as simple as applying every performance tweaks you can google, also disable all the services, also disable everything, i wouldn't even bother because there is no challenge. fidizler is exactly doing that

it is all about timing. not about doing everything

in case anyone asks, most tweaks had been tesed with mqn.exe2.2, mqn.exe2.82, xa900b, xa1060a, lekt2.55, lekt2.40.1, youtube flash player, foobar.

if 1 tweak is correct, all software players will improve in SQ.

if 1 tweak makes SQ strained, all software players are affected.

if 1 tweak makes artificial 3D effects, all software players becomes unnatural.

if 1 tweak makes SQ intense....

tell me exactly which tweaks of fadalizer can be SQ helpful. so i can test it.

otherwise you might as well tell me to go through each and every one of the 200 megabytes of windows registry.

Here's a tweak, I think:

If your BIOS has the option, set "AC Back Function" to "Full-On" (on my mobo, the default is "Sort-Off" - I have a Gigabyte P55 chipset Mobo).

I stumbled upon this accidentally - don't know how or when I changed it, but when doing some electrical work, when I flipped back on my circuit breaker for the circuit feeding my PC's outlet, the PC would turn on without my pressing the power button on the front of the case. I discovered this to be the result of the "Full-On" function being enabled in my BIOS. When I switched back to "Sort-Off", my listening session was puzzlingly full of hash/grain - on a hunch, I went back and changed this setting to "Full-On" and the hash/grain disappeared again. YMMV.

"AC Back Function" sounds like "Anti Surge Support" on my z77 mobo. think i have it disabled. might retest it if it actually increases SQ.

EDIT:
no, wait. it is called "Restore AC Power Loss" on asus mobo. shall try try
