...i tested with my CD player. natural 3D has no boarder with my headphones.

most mqn 3D are unnatural 3D. go walk on the street. listen to everything. you will hear no boarder.

i use v2.58.1 ussualy, a bit compressed from up-side, but soundstage ~like my CD player, SQ better, i feel nice bass.
3D-non3D..., what soundstage is correct? hm..., think need take good expensive CDplayer as template. seem i understand what you think about 3D, boarders,...

uploaded v2.59 256 , sound non-compressed, non-3D?, i think more correct than 2.58.1. but SQ better?

so who cares about speakers can produce correct soundstage. i claim 99.9% of soundstage people hear is incorrect anyway haha...

most important for soundstage is natural 3D (not 3D effect) + feeling musical.

afterall, i still like 2.55 the best. natural 3D. best 3D i heard. best balance. good SQ whether OS is happy or angry.

2.58.1 > 2.59. 2.59 more compressed... 2.58.1 feels bigger. 2.55 feels even bigger.

best uncompressed sound is 2.56.2. too much?! size of sound should be a little less of 2.56.2.

2.56.2 also has most stable simple soundstage i think. impossible to go wrong. zero tuning can sound good. (2.55 needs some correct tuning to sound great)

2.59.1 sounds very good. natural. width>2.55. height<2.55.
sound rises up well. height not enough.

width usually expands with good tweaks. (3D also expands with good tweaks)
but height and depth is more software player dependent i think.

there should be correct height and depth. not sure width can be correct hehe

yes, think width normal now. if more height then vocal focus will become not good, i think need more rise up. see XA1060A height not much but sound rises up to normal height at every beat of rythm, maybe it's correct model? or CD player give trust model, need learn its sound. happy with v2.59.1 sound, natural, seem weight enough.

XA1060A drives me crazy on 2012. cannot make it sound correct.

XA900B most easy to sound correct. XA is more more more difficult to drive haha... it is like a 5000ohms headphones. impossible to drive.

best depth?! at first i thought compressed. no. wrong. just main music is moved back a little as it is supposed to.

feels like 2.60 is the reference for soundstage? are you hearing what i am hearing. am i dreaming?

i removed all my 3D/soundstage tweaks. this soundstage i hear is only because of 2.60. nothing else

v2.60 256 stage size not big, size normal or not? i think need compare with CD player. vibration better, more soft but strong enough, sound weight enough. interesting, sound height not much but not compressed from up-side because sound rises up.
