still prefer 2.55. all things 97-100% well-done. best balance.

hard to beat v2.55, hehe... but nonetheless 2.57 and 2.58 have some good things, i will review their code, why tempo/rythm a bit heavily, maybe density too much?

2.55 never once give me headache in soundstage. XA is always something wrong with some albums.

2.55's soundstage is christmas gift from God.

if i do 1 correct tweak. 2.55 gives me 0.05% better natural 3D. XA gives me only 0.01% better. not sure about MQn i only use it for piano.

when my machine is in bad mood. XA punishes me(soundstage goes horrible). 2.55 is never too bad(soundstage only reduces). MQn also works well.

2.55 only lacks a little refinement/texture/micro-details/clarity from 2.57 and 2.58.

v2.58.1 vibration not good, but i see it's most clarity version. vocal, bass, guitar... almost sounds very clarity, seem here's nothing have shadow. more weight but not heavy, even i feel mellow. interesting sound, in my case it give very good emotion, nice bass.

v2.58.1 not stability, SQ changes, and good, and not good. maybe soundstage not correct?

2.58.1's soundstage feels fine to me. just a little dry and 0.5% compressed sound -> earaches. difficult to test.

2.55 is most stable SQ. tested it for a week. it is musical no matter how much i abuse my PC haha

gona test 2.55 with the new version of win7 by pkshan.

i somehow suspect my OS is something wrong. negative negative makes a positive SQ!

no software player ever have had correct 3D soundstage on my PC haha (that's why i was always against 3D effect)

99% of my PC tweaks was actually tuned using XA. somehow lekt2.55 > XA in soundstage 95% of time.

each time when i want improve vibration need bulid 5-10 versions, very hard with soundstage. 2.55 also make me pleasant, it have all good things. other versions have lesser.
