Iveagh Gardens

Post by JAW »

Got a freebie to go to Candi Staton and Paloma Faith last night in the Iveagh Gardens. What a great venue! Got parked on Fitzwilliam Square and only a stroll along Hatch Street to the Gardens. It wasn't very well attended, probably half full and atrocious weather. Candi Staton was brilliant! Just found out today that she's 67. Paloma Faith still seems like a one trick pony, but with a great voice. The Iveagh Gardens are such a great place for a small/medium gig. Even the sound was good, (except when it died for a minute or two)!
