----TWEAK 28----
this is the most enthusiastic tweak on win7
http://blog.sina.com.cn/s/blog_72b3301c0100ph1n.html

"Enable Transparent Glass"?
"Medium icon" size in windows explorer??
"Detail pane" > "Preview pan"???
etc

crazy but works! total respect
giving yourself to the devil! this is what you have to do in hifi

I meant "LSA Providers", sorry.

Hm... not sure. Is it it's only tab, or under the Drivers tab? If under the Drivers tab you can right click it and say "Jump To Entry" where it'll show you where it exists in the Registry... I guess you could delete from there? Or figure out where it's located?

finally. my 2012 > win7 XA 1.1. the secret is tweaking svchost. the root of all evils.

if one bothers to look into svchost, MMCSS is being bullied by 10-20 services.
MS has no respect for audio lol. no wonder we are never satisfied with the sound.

shall post this svchost tweak in a few weeks.

JC, given your investigative skills, I wondered if you have looked into what fidelizer does to the system to improve the sound ?

VC++ Redistributable Packages 2012 Update 4 is out

1. remove existing VC++ Redistributable 2012.
2. download and install the new one.

those who already installed VS2013 can ignore this.

I always wondered what it did, it does make a difference, I mean apart from stopping processes and changing affinities/priorities. There might be some little secrets in there that are worth investigating.
