What are you listening to?

I'm a huge admirer of the Takacs Quartet. Those Hungarians can certainly play! (not that I'm biased or anything! ;-)
Their cycle of the Bartok String Quartets I find challenging sometimes but hugely rewarding.

I agree with your comments on the Takacs Quartet Dave hence my interest being aroused in this music!
I also don't see how you could possibly be biased in any way Dave!!!

I only have one cycle of the Beethoven String Quartets which I must admit I have not listened to in a while.

It's a set I am very fond of Fergus. Tbh I am looking to invest in another set (at least of the later quartets) next payday
