made very careful adjustment for all factors, soundstage is most difficult, JC. good algorithm, fast executing code not sure that good sound will become. audio stream is big secret. position of variable in code also affect to sound.

i am struggling to make my 2012 sound like XA win7.
XA win7 has so much musical nuance.
my 2012 has more CD player sound, more correct soundstage, more clean, more elegant. but lacks musical nuance! i am running out of ideas of tweaks!!!

musical nuance may be raised by tempo. when some sound element is delay timing, intense is changed and we feell other emotion. singer usually use this delay tempo vocal method. i think player don't need make it, let's reproduce original sound as it is in recording.
uploaded v2.36 256 new counter. this version use normal render loop process, simple code, only use byte (8 bits of byte) for manipulation loop. but i feel its intense and normal good emotion. its sound is really as recording or not? try it.

2.36 needs less focus on the fading effect of sound. can distract the main music.

2.35 sound width not correct, a bit lesser then norm.

did you test original file. talk about mod PE, heap and stack improve SQ but also change intense, need careful adjust size for good sound. some your mod versions very good, add much SQ for lekt player.
2.36x are normal process in code, i'll try this method for cutting by Fibonacci ratios in next versions. seem Fibonacci method give most good sound. thx.

yes, the mod was bad. i need to be more careful.

-better better. best of all versions!
-air is as good as 2.35mod, more vibration more clarity more correct treble tune.
-2.36mod too intense for long listening. 2.36.1 better.
-2.36.1mod adds a layer. 2.36.1original is better more natural.
-piano much better. i hear the musical nuance now! best. piano is really perfection so far!
