played around with 7. now back to R2.
lekt vs XA vs MQn on 7+R2
-lekt has consistent SQ. what i heard on 7 is similar in R2. there is always focus stage and vibration and correct tune.
-XA has great/musical SQ on 7. on R2, stage gone wrong, sound gone thin, going backward, SQ is just good.
-MQn is just less musical more raw on 7. on R2, audio is much cleaner, more revealing, more refined.

XA seems to be a development project based on modified Foobar components by a Chinese chap. I couldn't find enough English to make sense of it.
JC seems to be more of an authority - he refers to it in a lot of posts.
